Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions
1. Warranty Coverage
This extended warranty provides an additional 6 months of coverage for repairs or replacements due to manufacturer defects. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
2. Warranty Period
The extended warranty begins at the end of the standard 6-month warranty and lasts for an additional 6 months, providing a total of 12 months of coverage.
3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
• Accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or cosmetic damage.
• Damage caused by failure to follow product instructions or improper maintenance.
• Issues arising from the use of unauthorized accessories or third-party components.
4. Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:
1. Contact MyTesting.ca to report the issue and start "Ticket" for the Preliminary Assessment
Once the support team has been contacted, they will assess the issue remotely to determine if it appears to be a manufacturer defect.
• If the issue is confirmed as a potential defect, the customer will proceed to the next steps.
• If not, the customer will be informed, and the claim will not proceed under the warranty.
• Receive a return authorization.
• Ship the product to the provided address for assessment. The customer is responsible for a shipping fee of $25 CAD.
• Allow the tCheck support team to assess the product to determine whether the issue is a manufacturer defect.
5. Assessment and Determination
• If the issue is determined to be a manufacturer defect, the repair or replacement will be provided free of charge.
• If the issue is not covered under the warranty, the customer will be informed of the findings and any associated repair costs.
6. Customer Responsibilities
• Ensure proper packaging for shipping the product to avoid additional damage.
• Cover the $25 CAD shipping cost to send the product for assessment.
7. Processing Time
After the product has been assessed and the issue determined, MyTesting.ca will proceed with processing the claim. The customer will be notified of the timeline for repairs or replacement. There will be NO CHARGE to ship warranty covered items back to the customer.
8. Limitation of Liability
MyTesting.ca is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or delays in the claim process.
